Flower Care
Keeping your flowers fresh is
essential. To find out how to prolong
their life see the guides below.
Hand Tied
Bouquet in Water (Aquapack)
Leave the flowers in the water
bubble and stand on a flat surface.
Top up your arrangement daily by
pouring water down the middle of
your arrangement.
Remove your arrangement from its
water bag after four-five days
and re-cut the stems before replacing
it in a clean vase of water.
Keep away from draughts and radiators
and keep out of direct sunlight.
Hand Tied
Arrangement
Leave the flowers tied unless you
wish to arrange them separately.
Remove lower wrappings, trim ends
of stems, and place in a suitable
vase filled with water. Top up
daily.
Keep away from draughts and radiators
and keep out of direct sunshine.
Posy or Basket
Arrangement
Water your arrangement daily or
when the oasis foam feels dry.
Always water over a sink or draining
board and leave the excess water
to drain from your arrangement
before replacing it back on your
furniture.
Keep away from draughts and radiators
and keep out of direct sunshine.
Roses
Cut the stems and place immediately
in deepwater up to the neck.
Leave in a cool place and allow
to drink.
Arrange in a deep vase, cutting
stems to suit, allowing for plenty
of stem in the water.
Do not leave them in a draught,
in direct sunshine or near heat.
If the roses should flop, re-cut
and plunge the stems only into
boiling water for a short while.
Tulips
If your tulip heads flop over,
put a pin prick between the base
of your flower head and the top
of the stem.
